Due to the sister city relations between the Pendik district of Asian-side Istanbul and Kispest district of Budapest, the Mustafa Kemal Atatürk Park was inaugurated in Kispest in 2012. As a reply to this gesture, the Turkish-Hungarian Friendship Park was opened in 2017 in Pendik. The park includes a playground and a bust of Ferenc Puskás, information plates about the Pál Street, the Parliament of Hungary and others, and a giant Rubic’s Cube is also exhibited.
